We love our country, and we cherish democracy. We know that the promise of American government should not look like it does now, and we know we must change it.
Seeing the vast amount of dysfunction in Congress can be greatly concerning. We may even feel that our democracy is not what it once was or what it should be. But, with career politicians being replaced by committed citizens, special interests and big money losing influence, and political parties becoming increasingly antiquated, it will be a new day in America.
Term limits will usher in a new way of governance. It will not be an overnight change, and it will take leadership, but we will undoubtedly be able to achieve a vastly more efficient and representative government.
