Americans for Congressional Term Limits is a think tank and an advocacy group. We are made up of staff and guest experts with knowledge ranging from the United States Constitution, it’s history, the first Constitutional Convention, Article V and the amendment process, interstate compacts, the impact of limitless Congressional terms, and the implication of limiting those terms.
ACTL does not engage in lobbying activities. We are dedicated to gathering resources, information, and expertise to better inform the public of the need for term limits and the Constitutional processes which could allow for term limits. ACTL has provided research and testimony for state legislatures and public policy organizations.
Term limits for Congress are the only way to effectively combat corruption and dysfunction in our government.
